Dubiski Career High School

John A. Dubiski is a GPISD public high school of choice with a focus on equipping students wtih the skills they need for 21st century professions. The five Schools within Dubiski are aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor Career Clusters. Students choose a sequential course of study designed to prepare them for a 2 year or 4 year college or enter the work force with a license or certification. Dubiski offers a 4 year Texas High School Recommended or DAP diploma.

The School of Architecture, Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing focuses on careers in construction, design, drafting and manufacturing. Classes include blueprint reading, welding, engineering, and specific construction skills.

The School of Arts, A/V Technology and Communications offers classes that prepare students for career choices including graphic design, animation, media/television technology and advertising.

The School of Business, Marketing, Finance & Information Technology gives students the skills they need to plan, organize, and direct business operations. Student’s career paths could include accounting, culinary arts, business
management, banking and cosmetology.

Students in the School of Health Science Technology explore and prepare for careers in all aspects of Medical Services. Career options include nursing, EMT, lab technician, therapy services, and medical records keeping.

The School of Transportation and Logistics offers training in automotive technology and repair, aftermarket installation, insurance adjusting, and warehouse operations.
