Congratulations to Cosmetology students for winning at the recent District 6 Contest. All are now qualified to go on to state competition.
Senior Cindy Espinoza won the Gold Medal for Outstanding Skills USA member and the Gold Medal for Occupational Health & Safety Book.
Senior Martiza Montanez won the Gold Medal for Occupational Health & Safety Book
Seniors Aracely Espinosa won Gold Medal for Job Demo.
Senior Alejandra Canul earned Best of Show for her nail art project.
Senior Carolyn Tran won 2nd in Nail Care
Senior Chutinant Suphanulk won 3rd in Up Do and Haircut
Junior Anna Nguyen earned 1st place for her nail project.
Junior Veronica Juarez won the Gold Medal for Occupational Health & Safety Book.

The Dubiski chapter of DECA took seven members to Dallas last weekend to compete in the District 7 DECA Career Development Conference.  Two students advanced to state competition. The state competition will be held in Fort Worth on February 19 - 21.

Congratulations to the SGP girls and boys swimming and diving team District Champions for a complete 1st place sweep at the district 7-5A meet this past Friday night. GP and SGP girls' and boys' teams dominated district competition, qualifying 11 relays and 26 individuals in 44 different events.

Congratulations to 41 Auto Tech students who passed the certification test and qualified to receive a Valvoline Certification from Valvoline Motor Oil Co.
